My Story
As an IT Insurance professional by day and a dedicated soccer mom by night to two amazing boys, Gibson 4 and Trenton 11, my journey is a blend of technology and heartfelt advocacy. Moving to Knightdale from Florida amidst the challenges of the pandemic introduced us to a community that embraced us with open arms. However, it was through navigating the world of parenting a child with autism, like my son Gibson, that I recognized a significant gap in youth sports programs tailored to neurodivergent kids. Determined to provide a safe and inclusive space for Gibson and children like him, I founded Spectrum Soccer. This venture is driven not just by my love for sports but by a deep-rooted commitment to ensuring every child has the opportunity to participate, regardless of their abilities. Juggling the demands of parenthood for children with special needs requires resilience on every front—mentally, physically, emotionally, and financially. Therefore, I am dedicated to keeping costs low to ensure accessibility for all families within our community. Together, we're not just playing a game; we're fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment for every child who steps onto the field.
